As owner and lead trainer of Beyond the Leash dog training, he has trained thousands of dogs over the years. He can set every dog on the right path and get any dog back on track. His training delivers results that allow you to better enjoy, manage, and understand your dog. Scott is best known for his clear and effective communication with both dog and owner and provides even the most frustrated of households with hope.

Massachussets dog trainer Scott WilliamsOutside of his primary business as a pet dog trainer, Scott’s interest in and passion for the sport of French Ring have allowed him to travel to France for dog training. He has successfully competed with numerous dogs in PSA, Schutzhund, Mondioring, and French Ring. As a graduate of Randy Hare’s Detection Trainers Course, Scott has also devoted a significant portion of his career to canine detection. Scott has implemented scent classes in both Los Angeles and the New England area and has trained hundreds of dogs the game of scentwork. Additionally, he has immersed himself in the bed bug industry over the years. Training and selling dogs for commercial work has allowed Scott to more deeply understand the intricacies of real world detection work.

Channel’s Scream Play for bite work and Scott has been featured on various newscasts for his work with bed bug detection dogs. Scott is certified in pet first aid, CPR, and Canine Good Citizen testing and is always looking to further his education in dog training by attending workshops with trainers and behaviorists from all disciplines. Scott has been asked to present at numerous events across the country to share his knowledge of dog training with others.
