Scott Williams is one of the most versatile and experienced dog trainers in New England. He truly sees the best in every dog. He tells clients dog training is simple but not easy though somehow he makes it look both. Scott opened Beyond The Leash in Los Angeles in 2005, and he has trained thousands of dogs over the years. He can set every dog on the right path and get any dog back on track. His training delivers results that allow you to better enjoy, manage, and understand your dog. Scott is best known for his clear and effective communication with both dogs and owners. Even the most frustrated of households will find hope with Scott.
Unlike many other dog trainers in Massachusetts, Scott has expertise in everything from French Ring to bedbug detection. His interest in and passion for the sport of French Ring sent him to France for dog training. He has successfully competed with numerous dogs in PSA, Schutzhund, Mondioring, and French Ring. A graduate of Randy Hare’s Detection Trainers Course, Scott has also devoted a significant portion of his career to canine detection. Scott developed and offered scent classes in both Los Angeles and the New England area and has trained hundreds of dogs in the game of scentwork. Additionally, he has immersed himself in the bed bug industry over the years and has trained and sold dogs for commercial work.
Scott has been featured on various newscasts, and of course Scott’s dogs have appeared on television. Scott is certified in pet first aid, CPR, and Canine Good Citizen testing and always looks to further his education in dog training through participation in workshops with trainers and behaviorists from all disciplines. Scott is a regular presenter at canine events across the country and enjoys sharing his knowledge of dog training with others.
